Scott Beale - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Scott Beale is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of ADI. A respected industry leader, he has more than 20 years of experience growing successful aviation businesses. Beale's entrepreneurial success includes developing, owning and managing multiple startup businesses with responsibility for all facets of operations, human capital management, sales and marketing, finance, customer relations and brand development.

Prior to the acquisition of ADI and its subsidiaries in 2011, Beale served as president of The Jet Center FBOs. This chain of FBOs provides fueling services, maintenance services, charter brokerage and aircraft rejuvenation to both commercial and government clients. Beale is responsible for triple digit annual growth in the down economy of 2008 through 2010. Beale is also well-known for his accomplishments as CEO, co-founder and principal of FlightWorks. For more than a decade, Beale successfully grew the company and its associated subsidiaries from $2.5 million annual revenues to $90.0 million in annual revenues between 2000 and 2009. In 2007, Beale led negotiations to acquire Mountain Aviation and filled the role of president. Mountain Aviation attained a 300 percent + increase in net pre-tax profit in the first 18 months of ownership, primarily through integration activities, efficiency improvements, policy changes and a "hands on" management style spearheaded by Beale.

Beale is a licensed commercial multi-engine pilot with type ratings and experience in the Cessna Citation and Gulfstream product lines. In addition, he holds a commercial rotor wing license and is a certified airframe and powerplant mechanic. Beale received a bachelor's degree in aviation business management from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and is currently working on an MBA degree.


Cheryl L. Bush -President and Chief Operating Officer

Cheryl Bush began her tenure with ADI in November 1978, serving as president and chief operating officer since 1992. She is responsible for the company's day-to-day operations, management, development, strategic planning and financial viability. Bush's leadership, technology insight and operational expertise have strengthened ADI's service culture, innovation, and expanded the company into new markets. Throughout her career with ADI, she has held a variety of positions including office manager, flight management coordinator, charter manager and vice president administration.

Bush has participated in NATA's Managing Business in Aviation and Strategic Planning programs. An active member for the past 14 years in the international business group, Young Presidents' Organization, Bush held chapter board positions from 1995 - 2001 and served as 1999-2000 chapter chair. She also serves on the board of the Michigan Business Aviation Association (MBAA), acting as chair since 2007; board member of the Schoolcraft Community College Aviation Advisory Board; and managing director of the FPM Foundation.

Bush attended Wayne State University's School of Business Administration majoring in business management and marketing.


Richard D. Appleman - Chief Financial Officer

Richard Appleman joined ADI in 1996. As chief financial officer, he is responsible for ADI's finance, management of information systems activities and human resources. Appleman oversees the company's corporate development activities with responsibility for strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and new business initiatives. In addition, Appleman negotiates and writes contracts; manages external relationships with bankers, investors and business partners; establishes financial goals; manages all internal and external financial reporting; and prepares strategic financial modeling.

Prior to joining ADI, Appleman spent seven years with the Detroit office of Ernst & Young as audit manager and audit department microcomputer coordinator. Subsequently, Appleman was the chief financial officer for The Kirlin Company, a closely held manufacturer of lighting fixtures.

Appleman is a certified public accountant and has earned an MBA from Michigan State University and a B.S. from the University of Michigan.


Donald Reppert - Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Donald Reppert is the senior vice president of sales and marketing for ADI. In this leadership capacity, Reppert is charged with the responsibility of the company's top line revenues, strategic growth, marketing initiatives, product development and overall client services and satisfaction. Reppert has more than 30 years of experience with sales and marketing, business turnarounds, strategic planning rollouts and business consulting.

Reppert is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio on a Navy scholarship and earned a bachelor's degree in systems analysis. Upon graduation in 1972, he was commissioned an ensign in the U.S. Navy and began flight school. Receiving his wings of gold in 1974, Reppert left military service in 1978 and started his career with The Service Bureau Company (formerly the service bureau of IBM) as a systems marketing executive. Over the next 25 years, Reppert held positions in sales, marketing and executive management with a number of different companies. During his tenure at IBM and KPMG Consulting (now Bearing Point), Reppert directed successful sales-related startup and turn-around engagements throughout the United States. He also participated as a member of the management team for five separate IPOs. Reppert has been actively engaged in private consulting for the past 11 years following his departure as president and COO of Micro Edge, a North Carolina-based software company. As the managing partner of Fresh Eyes Consulting, Reppert has led sales and marketing transformations at a number of large publically-traded companies including Salesforce.com, Avaya and Cisco Systems.

An avid aviation enthusiast since the early 1970s, Reppert currently holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with single and multi-engine privileges. He is also a type-rated Learjet captain and a current aircraft owner.


Dan Feemster (Lieutenant Colonel USA, Retired) - Vice President of Government Services

Dan Feemster joined ADI as vice president of government services responsible for the marketing, strategic planning, sales and customer relations for the company's government services business across all service sectors. With years of experience in strategic management and direction, Feemster brings his consultative approach to ADI's government service clients.

A retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, Feemster served 24 years in the U.S. Army as a tactical and strategic intelligence officer at six major commands and two national agencies. His extensive experience includes program management, policy, executive level strategic intelligence production, security assistance and foreign security cooperation programs. He can quickly grasp and understand the subtle intricacies of cultural, political and military crises and is an expert at strategic and operational planning, operations management, problem solving, team building and strategic communications.

In both commander and division chief positions, Feemster was responsible for major operations and large diverse workforces; operations conducted in Bosnia, Kosovo, Africa, the Middle East, and worldwide natural disaster response. His experience includes work in multi-national environments, coordinate with foreign armies, international, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and with contractors. Feemster has six years work experience in Africa and with African issues; he was selected to serve on the transition team to stand up the U.S. Africa Command responsible for providing advice and analysis to the president and secretary of defense on political-military issues in Africa. He has worked toward enabling African militaries to develop and improve sustainable capacities to deploy and conduct peace support and humanitarian relief operations in Africa and in other areas of the world.

Feemster holds a M.S. in strategic intelligence and a B.S. in psychology. He holds an active U.S. government top secret clearance and CI polygraph.


Mark Nelson - Vice President of MRO Services

Mark Nelson joined ADI as vice president of the services group responsible for managing the professional development, strategic planning and operation of the services group - consisting of maintenance, parts, interiors, ground support and avionics departments. He is also responsible for creating policies and controls for the efficient operation of a multi-level maintenance service organization that includes support services. He ensures that all operations are accomplished in accordance with company policy and applicable FAR's, in addition to serving as liaison with the FAA and other regulatory agencies.

Throughout his career, Nelson has been involved in nearly every aspect of aviation operations, beginning with flight school aircraft maintenance and evolving into management of a Fortune 100 international corporate flight operation. His most recent position as an officer of a successful FAR 145 repair station rounds out his exposure and expertise. He has an impeccable 31-year history in aviation with 26 years in management positions. He has delivered key business results with corporate flight departments, major airlines, charter management organizations and an FAA certified repair station. Nelson has served on customer advisory boards for industry training centers and universities, and he has been recognized for exemplary performance and operational safety by employers throughout his career.

Nelson was born and raised on a family farm in northwest Iowa, the son of a former U.S. Air Force fighter mechanic. He attended college in Southwest Iowa and graduated with an FAA airframe and powerplant certificate and added his private plot certificate on his own. Later, he attended Parks University and received a bachelor's degree in business management and completed the managing corporate aviation at the University of Virginia. He also holds a certificate in aviation safety from the University of Southern California.


Kris Goldsmith - Executive Director of Flight Operations

Kris Goldsmith joined ADI in 2002 as part of ADI's 121 Certification Team. Goldsmith began his career in aviation with Zantop International Airlines in 1995 as an operations agent. Since that time, he has held positions in the industry as a dispatcher, operations manager and private certification consultant. After joining ADI, Goldsmith has served as the manager of corporate publications, director of training, director of safety, health and safety manager, and project manager for 121 certification. While in those positions, he developed ADI's safety management system, illness and injury prevention program and technical publications system to cover 91, 121, 125 and 135 operations. In his current role as the executive director of flight operations, he is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of flight and maintenance operations for 91, 121, 125 and 135 operations.


Robert J. Ward - Vice President of FBO Services

Robert Ward joined ADI as vice president of FBO operations responsible for the strategic development and planning in order to maximize FBO growth opportunities; increase revenues and market share; increase customer loyalty; and identify new business opportunities. Ward leads the FBO network by developing a solid infrastructure and competitive sales program that produces higher sales revenues and overall returns. He continues to develop the FBO brand by improving efficiency while emphasizing on product quality and customer relationships.

Ward has more than 12 years of experience in all aspects of the general aviation industry. Ward's experience includes property management, lease administration, airport relations, regulatory compliance and acquisition analysis. Additionally, his experience includes overseeing Part 135 air charter operations, hangar construction, fuel farm design and the negotiation of fuel supply contracts.

Prior to joining ADI, Ward served as vice president of The Jet Center FBOs. He was responsible for the overall daily operations of the FBO and its facilities. His responsibilities included management oversight, customer satisfaction, marketing, training and safety along with business development and long term planning. This chain of FBOs provides fueling services, maintenance services, charter brokerage and aircraft rejuvenation to both commercial and government clients. Ward directed the design, construction, staffing and management of The Cleveland Jet Center (CGF) FBO in Ohio.

In 2005, Ward served as the operations manager for Corporate Wings, an aircraft management and FBO chain. He led the management and charter division including the company's privately-owned aircraft with responsibilities ranging from logistical, scheduling and dispatching under FAR 91/135 operations.

Ward started his aviation career with Flight Options as an owner services advocate and quickly becoming the director of scheduling. As the director of scheduling, Ward managed a fleet of more than 260 aircraft with an average of 400 daily flight operations. He was responsible for managing a $30 million dollar budget and effectively led the drive to decrease operational costs while increasing efficiency.

Ward is a focused and energetic leader who possesses a strong analytical business sense, yet excels at establishing productive employee relationships and customer retention.
